This research seeks to study the poetic discourse of Abu Al- Shees Al-Khuzai through its linguistic structure, according to a modern approach, the structural approach, by analyzing the various structures of the poetic text represented in the rhythmic structure, the poetic image structure and the linguistic structure. This study opened with a theoretical chapter because it is impossible to analyze any research without deciphering its terminology theoretically. As for the second chapter, it focused on rhythm, with its two types, external and internal, where the first type was devoted to the study of weights and rhymes that were employed by Abu Al-Sheis Al- Khuza’i. ) in the composite seas (long, simple, battered...), but the long weights prevailed, which allowed the poet a wide space to express his feelings and feelings. As for the rhyme, it varied between absolute and restricted, but the absolute rhyme prevailed. As for the internal rhythm, the internal musical composition of the poetic text was discussed, such as the syllable that distinguished Abu Al-Sheis Al-Khuzai’s poems, and indicated the extent of his interest in the introductions of his poems and pieces, in addition to counterpoint and repetition, and their contribution to enriching the musical tone and intensifying the semantic aspect.
